The ultimate purpose of chair #811 is comfort!

The fully upholstered seat rests on four rubber vibration dampers, allowing the seat to slightly tilt back and forth – adjusting to your body’s natural movements.

The asymmetric, beveled leg frame makes for an interesting and edgy contrast to the soft, upholstered seat.

The chair has passed tests of strength durability and safety by Danish Technological Institute, Furniture Lab. This means that the chairs meet all requirements for non domestic seating and are approved for use in office buildings, cafés, restaurants, bars or the like.

All Skovby chairs are regularly tested by the Danish Furniture Makers' Quality Control organization.

Skovby designs and manufactures furniture in Denmark and has been doing so for over 90 years. The company belongs to Danish furnituremakers' quality control – an organization whose purpose is to guarantee high quality furniture, environmentally friendly production methods and manufacturing in Denmark.

    The Designer Favourite!

The Multi-Lite was first drawn in 1972 when Louis Weisdorf did an exception to his own design custom of using multiple repeating elements. Instead it reflects his passion for diversity. The Multi-Lite pendant has two individual rotating shades and can be transformed into multiple combinations where the light can be directed upwards, downwards or exude an assymetrical art light. The lamp is available in different colors and all the shades are white lacquered inside.
