Escape Kelim by Space Copenhagen

The new series of kelim carpets by Space Copenhagen for massimo focus on the subdued colour tones and the natural feel. The designer’s wish has been to design a modern collection of minimal, yet tactile and crafted rugs with subtle details – to support and enhance the warmth, softness, human layer and ambience in a modern space.

The Escape Kelim collection is all about diving into the traditional techniques of Kilim Weave. All the rugs in the collection are handwoven in India from natural yarns, no bleach and no dyes, which makes them stronger, easy to maintain and long lasting.

Care
Professional cleaning is recommended. Never clean with chemicals!
Daily cleaning: Use the vacuum cleaner without brush – frequently when the carpet is new as it will produce shed fluff for a period of time. Vacuum in the direction of the pile. It is a good idea to turn the rug around twice a year to avoid uneven wear and to place e.g. felt under the feet of heavy furniture standing on the rug. Note that the colors may fade if the carpet is exposed to strong sunlight for a longer period of time. Staining from the backside of the carpet may occur so it is recommended to use an underlay carpet on delicate surfaces. Please contact your local dealer for further advise.

The Designer Favourite!

The Multi-Lite was first drawn in 1972 when Louis Weisdorf did an exception to his own design custom of using multiple repeating elements. Instead it reflects his passion for diversity. The Multi-Lite pendant has two individual rotating shades and can be transformed into multiple combinations where the light can be directed upwards, downwards or exude an assymetrical art light. The lamp is available in different colors and all the shades are white lacquered inside.
