FREDERICIA
FREDERICIA - SET OF 6 - Trinidad Chair - Beech Painted Khaki
MUST BE SOLD IN A SET OF 6
TRINIDAD - Designed in 1993 with inspiration from the elaborate fretwork from the Gingerbread facades.
Designed by Nanna Ditzel who was born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1923.
The cut-out fretwork of the chair triggers an interplay of light and shadows creating a pattern projected into space and a subtle sense of motion.
When Trinidad was first introduced, it was heralded as a breakthrough in design technology.
The lightweight design allows for hours of seating comfort, able to suit any setting as well the person who sits in it.
Trinidad provides excellent acoustics where sound resonance is reduced.
Trinidad is a popular choice for concert halls and auditoriums, as well as private homes.
The chair represents a Post-Modernism milestone in the history of plywood chairs.

The Designer Favourite!
The Multi-Lite was first drawn in 1972 when Louis Weisdorf did an exception to his own design custom of using multiple repeating elements. Instead it reflects his passion for diversity. The Multi-Lite pendant has two individual rotating shades and can be transformed into multiple combinations where the light can be directed upwards, downwards or exude an assymetrical art light. The lamp is available in different colors and all the shades are white lacquered inside.
